 The next open water training courses will be held 7-30 pm to 9-00 pm on 14th March, 11th April, and 9th May.

The Friendliest Divers             

Pennine sub-aqua club is a small friendly club operating from Todmorden, near Halifax, West Yorkshire with no bravado or politics, we just like to dive and introduce people to the world beneath the waves.

We have a wide range of ages and abilities in the club proving that as long as you are medically able diving is something that anyone can take part in and enjoy.

The clubs focus is on fun and safe diving provided by qualified and experienced staff in a welcoming and friendly environment that will ensure you have fun and enjoy your underwater adventure.

 We are members of The Sub Aqua Association (club number 702) - a volunteer lead organisation that exists to promote diving best practice, and provides certification and dive insurance to all members.

Pool Duty Rota

Each wdnesday at the Todmorden Pool, a member of the club will be on pool duty. This involves welcoming divers, taking a register of people attending, collecting any moneies due, and helping with equipment. Please be at the pool by 7.30 pm if you are on duty.

 Rota member duties

Please ensure you are available from 19:30
Key for registration form available from reception (Locker 200)
As identification please wear club ID (baseball cap)
Ensure all attendees are logged on the weekly register
New members to be greeted and informed of how the club functions.
Acquire the key for the equipment store.
Allocate the required equipment for that evening’s pool.
Any non-member that is not a guest to be logged and the pool fee (£5) to be taken- monies to be given to be transferred to the club via a committee member.
Non- member to be given the required information of how to join the club (this should be encouraged).
Any requests for equipment that is to be removed from the pool for outside use to be signed out as per the sheet – at the member’s responsibility.
All equipment to wash in the showers to remove the pool chlorine.
Equipment to be returned to the store
Any tank used below 100 bar needs to be refilled at a fee £3 to be collected and payed by the user to “Below the surface dive school” along with the tanks.
